A troubling fact that our attention: monocrops tree most large scale received Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification in the world.
In recent plantings due to "green" seal of approval of Shell's fields in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, as Sappi, Mondi is and SAFCOL is in South Africa, is KLAB -V & M Florestal was in Brazil, Fletcher Challenge PERUM PERHUTANI is in Indonesia, New Zealand / Aotearoa and many others. If this trend continues, more tree monocultures are also guaranteed "sustainable" by the FSC, an organization which enjoys substantial credibility to the public. Read full article
